About the property…
Arranged over two floors, Chalet Tyron can accommodate eight guests in four bedrooms with four en-suite shower rooms.
On the ground floor, you'll find the four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room and toilet. They all open onto a large L-shaped terrace with a hot tub and a swimming pool, which is open all year round.
The first floor is dedicated to a spacious and comfortable living room. The seating area has a sofa and several armchairs arranged around the television and an electric fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar where you can grab a snack before heading out, and the dining table is big enough for everyone to eat together in the evenings. This room has doors to the balcony, which is also accessible from outside via a staircase. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.
On the practical side, Chalet Tyron offers a ski store, a washing machine and dryer, as well as several parking spaces, one of which is in a garage.
About the area…
Chalet Tyron is located in Marlens, a hamlet in the village of Val de Chaise, 29km from Annecy and 36.4km from Megève. The southern end of Lake Annecy is about 12km away.
Val de Chaise enjoys a peaceful rural setting in a valley between the Bauges mountains and the foothills of the Aravis. Halfway between Lake Annecy and Albertville, it’s a great place to enjoy the Alps away from the crowds at any time of year. The town attracts visitors with its open landscapes, traditional hamlets and mountains. It’s a great base for exploring the mountains.
In winter, the family-friendly resort of La Sambuy-Seythenex, just a 15-minute drive away, is a great place to try ski-touring and tobogganing. A little further away, the Espace Diamant ski area offers 192km of linked slopes between Les Saisies, Crest-Voland and Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe. Albertville is 15km and Manigod 22km from Val de Chaise. Downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking and many more challenging activities are available to guests.
During the rest of the year, the region is perfect for outdoor activities. Lake Annecy is ideal for swimming, sailing, paddleboarding or cycling along its famous greenway. The River Chaise and Lake Marlens are ideal for fishing and shady walks, while the Bauges and Aravis trails are perfect for hiking and mountain biking. Aquatic centres, local markets and heritage discoveries complete a rich summer offering.
